Too Cool For School Egg Mousse Pack Review

Today, I'll be writing a review on one of  Too Cool For School bestsellers, the Egg Mousse Pack.
I'm still new to this so bear with me.

Too Cool For School is one of the more recently established skincare and makeup brands. I was first expose to it during my Taiwan trip with my friend. It has a boutique located at the popular site Ximending in Taipei. I was first attracted to it as the boutique had a really open concept the place had an antique feel to it. ( I would recommend visiting the boutique if you ever decided to go on a holiday to Taipei.) In the recent years, there has been quite a few stores opening up in Singapore as well. Hence, it is possible to get their products in Singapore as well. Woohoo!!

The Egg Mousse Pack is a wash off mask which is used after washing your face with your facial foam. The recommended usage is a ball the size of a ping pong ball. Massage the foam onto your face for one minute, let the product be soaked into your skin and wash off the foam with warm water.

I finally tried my hands on my bottle yesterday. The foam was a little dense and it spreads really well. I like the texture of the foam, it is not as loose as those facial foams you have. The denser texture actually helps a great deal in spreading the product on your face. To top it off, the smell of the product was heavenly, it had a citrus scent to it. the scent wasn't overwhelming, but instead just nice.

The product is meant to remove impurities and excess sebum in our facial pores.  It also has moisturizing, whitening and nourishing effects.

In my opinion, the product did its job relatively well. I have really oily skin. It did help to reduce the sebum production (but not significantly though). However, it think for maximal effect it has to be used frequently, I remember the sales person recommending a usage of once or twice times a week. After using the product some blackheads were also removed. The more stubborn ones rose to the surface and are easily removed using a comedone extractor. The moisturizing effect wasn't as I thought it would be. But compared to the rest of the exfoliating product and cleansing products I've tried, I would feel that this product didn't leave my face feeling all dry.

This product can be compared to etude house's Magic Bubble Peeling Foam. However, the Egg mousse is less harsh and it exfoliate the top layer of your skin. It targets the pores and impurities more specifically. I would recommend the Egg Mousse over the Magic Bubble Peeling foam if you have really dry and sensitive skin.

This is actually quite a good product except for the price. It is a little on the pricy side.

Hopefully, this post would be useful if you are considering a deep cleansing foam on top of your facial foam.

Comment if there is any products you want me to review. =)
